COMPOSIT 2k18 provides you with the opportunity to think out of the box with its event ThinkTank. It provides you a platform to think differently and bring a change in the society. At the same time, it allows you to gauge your creativity and presentation skills to the complete extent.

Who can participate?

Any student pursuing Bachelors or Masters from any certified college are eligible to participate.

Problem Statement


ThinkTank presents the opportunity to pitch your ideas from varied fields like Artificial Intelligence, Supply chain, Internet of Things, Machine Learning, Blockchain etc.


The only catch here is that your solutions should address real-life issues like Fast and Affordable Transportation, Improvement in Quality of Life, Sustainable Development, Smart Cities etc.

Rules


The event will be conducted in two rounds-

  • Preliminary Paper Submission Round-
    • The first round is an online submission round.
    • You have to submit an abstract of not more than 400 words which contain basic description of your idea.
    • The participants need to submit their abstract in PDF form to submissions@composit.in.
    • The subject of submission must be 'THINKTANK Submission'.
    • The email must contain:
      • Name of all the members.
      • The contact details(email, phone no.) of atleast two team members.
    • The last date of online submission is 8th March, 2018.
    • The list of the participants shortlisted for the final round will be released on 9th March, 2018.
  • Final Presentation Round-
    • The final round will be conducted at IIT Kharagpur during COMPOSIT 2018.
    • Participants will need to present their ideas to the panel of judges.
    • The participants will have 8 minutes to present their ideas with a PPT, followed by 2 minutes to answer the questions from the judging panel.
    • The PPT should not contain more than 12 slides.
The organizers reserve the right to change the rules as they deem fit. Change in rules, if any, will be highlighted on the website and notified to the registered participants.

Team Size

There can be Maximum FOUR in a team.


Note: In case of any conflict, the decision of the organizing committe will be final.

Prize Money


The prize money of the event is INR 12,000.
