Come down to the beach to get active, meet friends and enjoy the beach atmosphere! Our mission is to get the public involved in beach volleyball in an exciting and social environment.

The Queensland Beach Volleyball Tour (QBVT) is the highest level of beach volleyball in the state, providing a competitive environment for QLD’s elite and developing athletes. Hosted by a range of venues reaching from the Gold Coast to North Queensland, the Tour showcases the sport to audiences across Queensland.
In 2021, Beach Volleyball will be held at UniSport Nationals Div 1 and Div 2 presented by UniBank, on the Gold Coast and will be contested in both men's pairs, women's pairs and mixed fours competitions. Contact your University Team Manager (UTM) to find out how to get involved!

Lausanne, Switzerland, January 23, 2018 - A draw at the Coolangatta Surf Lifesaving Club on Tuesday confirmed the Gold Coast 2018 men's and women's beach volleyball pools. Beach volleyball is set to feature on the programme of the Commonwealth Games for the first time in Australia from April 6 to 12.
Volleyball Victoria has made the difficult decision to officially withdraw from the 2021 Australian Volleyball League (AVL) event that is scheduled for December 2nd – 5th on the Gold Coast. The Volleyball Victoria Board of Directors did not make this decision lightly, however the decision comes after months of no access to facilities.
"The Gold Coast’s beautiful beaches are a huge Games drawcard and Beach Volleyball is the perfect sporting fit for the 2018 program.
